Principles of Intuitive Eating

Join presenter Valerie Johnson, ERS Wellness Consultant, for this helpful webinar on intuitive eating. Intuitive eating is listening to the signals your body provides when it is hungry as a factor in deciding what and how much to eat. Research shows that intuitive eating is associated with positive body image, lowered rates of eating disorders and higher trends of general well-being. This presentation gives an overview of 10 of the principles of intuitive eating, how they can help you eat more mindfully, and how to adopt them into your own lifestyle.

You Can Help a Coog- Mental Health Training

In this training a CAPS clinician helps faculty, staff and students to recognize concerning behaviors. Participants then learn how to respond to person of concern with empathy while maintaining appropriate boundaries. Everyone leaves knowing how to refer students to CAPS and other support offices at UH.
