The Center for Research, Evaluation and Advancement of Teacher Education (CREATE) is an educational research and development center focusing on issues of university-based educator preparation, quality, and practices, and the effects of these practices on public school improvement.  Our primary stakeholders are the 5 million plus children who attend Texas' public schools.  We consider university-based educator preparation to be of great public significance in the state, worthy of careful attention, and an important subject for research.
