Don’t miss M.Ed. in Administration and Supervision student Marvin Pierre who will give a TED Talk on Tuesday November 1, 2016 from 8:30am-12:30pm at Lone Star College-Tomball at the Beckendorf Conference Center. 

Pierre wants to live in a world where equal opportunity to live a quality life exists for all.  He has been spotlighted as one of Houston’s emerging leaders in education.

When Pierre is not engaged in the day to day grind of impacting the lives of inner-city boys, you can find him in the gym.

Pierre was recently selected to serve as a Bridge Fellow with The New Teachers Project and will focus his fellowship on developing an alternative education program that seeks to upend the school-to-prison pipeline.  He states that giving a TED Talk is on his bucket list.
