UH at Sugar Land offers undergraduate and graduate programs from the UH Colleges of Nursing, Engineering, Education, Social Work, Business and Liberal Arts & Social Sciences. A part of the UH main campus, UH at Sugar Land is located at the corner of US-59/69 and University Blvd.

In addition to open quiet spaces, the University Branch Library has private rooms available per person/group per day. First come, first served. Bring a current student ID or a driver’s license to reserve a space.

Gessner College Nursing Graduates – the Future of Health Care

Forty-eight future nurse leaders and their families gathered for fall commencement and pinning ceremonies for the University of Houston Andy and Barbara Gessner College of Nursing. The students represented the college’s Second Degree, RN to BSN and Traditional Bachelor of Science in nursing programs. “You all have worked very hard to get here and now are prepared to enter the field as nurse leaders and professionals,” said Kathryn Tart, professor and founding dean of the college. “You did it.” Read more…
