- Shuttle Stops: Fleming, PGH, Stadium-South, Cambridge Oaks-South, Cullen Oaks-South, Zone E/8A, Zone E/9C, Cambridge Oaks-North, Quad, Stadium-North
Sugar Land Route
- Days of Operation: Monday-Friday
- Shuttle Stops: Student Center South / Technology Building at UH at Sugar Land
- Hours of Operation: 7 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday-Thursday; 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Fridays
- Service: A one-way trip is approximately 40 minutes. The bus will remain at each stop five minutes before departing. All buses are ADA accessible.
- Permit Required: A shuttle permit is required in order to ride the Sugar Land route. Those who do not have a shuttle permit will not be allowed to board the shuttle bus.
- Please note: The Sugar Land shuttle is intended for students who attend classes at both the main campus and in Sugar Land. It is not an alternative for students who live in Fort Bend County and the Sugar Land area to commute to campus.
PLEASE NOTE: Shuttle permit holders must have their digital Cougar Card readily available for scanning prior to boarding. Physical Cougar Cards are not accepted.
Do the following before boarding:
- Make sure you are logged in to the UH Go app
- Click on the image of your Cougar Card
- Click where it says "Tap for QR Code"
- Show the QR Code to the bus driver or other parking representative so they can scan it and verify you have a shuttle permit.
Cougar Trax Shuttle Tracking
Cougar Trax is a real-time GPS tracking system designed to show you when the next UH shuttle will be at a specific shuttle stop. Access Cougar Trax on the website or through the UH Go app.
Charter Requests
- Please complete the charter request form at this link
- Email completed requests to parking@uh.edu
- Charters are first come first served and based strictly on availability
- Requests must be submitted ten working days in advance
- Charters have a four-hour minimum and rates are (subject to change every January)
- $125.49 per hour for UH Departments and no contract is required
- $143.41 for unaffiliated requests and contracts will be required. Unaffiliated requests must be submitted 30 calendar days in advance to complete the contract process
- Requests submitted late will be charged a 20% rush fee
- Estimates will include 30 minutes for Before Operations and 30 minutes after for Post Operations inspections mandated by federal transportation laws
- Both 14 seat and 36 seat shuttles are available at the same rate structure above
- Requests for 36 or more passengers should state if more than one shuttle is requested, or if one shuttle is requested to make multiple trips
- All shuttles are ADA equipped
- Once PTS receives the request:
- Requestor will be sent an estimate for approval
- Requestor will approve the estimate
- PTS will schedule the charter
- Once the charter is complete, PTS will send an invoice to the requestor to be sent to the department DBA for payment by SC Voucher
- Unaffiliated requests must be paid before the charter date and agree to pay for any overages
- Requestors agree to pay 50% of the invoice if the charter is cancelled within 3 working days of the charter date
- Requestors agree to pay 100% for same day cancellations
