Undergraduate Degree
Course requirements for French majors
In addition to the other requirements for the Bachelor of Arts, students will complete 27 hours in French at the advanced level (3000 and 4000) to include six hours of a literature course at the 4000 level. For information about course prerequisites, please consult undergraduate catalog.
A 2.5 minimum GPA is required. In addition, credit for a second year of another foreign language, or equivalent is required. Exceptions are made upon approved petition outlining a reasonable substitution. This requirement is waived if student is completing a double major.
Course requirements for the Minor in French
12 advanced hours (3000-4000 level) including 3 hours at the 4000 level.
Course requirements for the Minor in French for Business Related Professions
12 advanced hours (3000-4000 level) including FREN 3316, 3317, 4317.

Masters Degree in World Cultures and Literatures with concentration in French
