Every spring this popular exhibition introduces the University of Houston campus and Houston audiences to the work of School of Art undergraduate seniors and first- and second-year graduate students. The show features works selected by School of Art faculty in consultation with student artists. More than 100 UH artists will present works during this exhibition—which has long served as a way to introduce rising artists to local patrons and provides students with the experience of presenting works in a professional museum.

“Empower Your Worth” is tailored for those who are gearing up to accept job and internship offers. In this interactive session, participants will learn essential strategies for navigating salary discussions, understanding market value, and confidently advocating for their worth. Facilitators will share insights into researching salary benchmarks, crafting persuasive negotiation pitches, and handling common challenges in the negotiation process. Whether you’re entering the workforce or embarking on an internship, this workshop equips you with the skills to confidently negotiate your salary and set the stage for a successful career. The Energy Coalition’s marquee event, the annual Energy Banquet celebrates the world of energy as well as the accomplishments of the organization over the academic year.
