The Interlocking UH
Collegiate logos are a long-standing and well-respected tradition in higher education. Alumni, students, faculty and staff instantly recognize their University by its logo and wear it with great pride. The Interlocking UH is the University of Houston’s boldest and most widely recognized mark. It supports school spirit in current students, alumni and athletics.

Usage
The University of Houston Signature Mark should be used as the primary identifier in all university communications to external audiences; however, the Interlocking UH is available as a bold, stand-alone identifier for the university as a whole in communications and on licensed merchandise.
Although it is generally not necessary to include the registration mark (®) for internal purposes, the registration mark should be included whenever the Interlocking UH is used by itself on merchandise.
Logo Colors
The Interlocking UH logo is available in four primary color combinations that are authorized for all uses. A fifth color combination is available for use on licensed merchandise only.

Clear Space
In order to maintain the integrity of the Interlocking UH, please note that the minimum distance allowed around the logo is relative to the height of the logo and should be half the height of the logo. For example, if a logo is 1.0” high the required clear space is 0.5”.
Minimum Size
To maintain the structural integrity and legibility of the visual mark, the following minimum sizes are recommended for print and screens.
