The Digital Humanities Core, housed, at the M.D. Anderson Library, is proud to announce the launch of Bits, Bytes, and Scripts, a new monthly newsletter dedicated to showcasing the vibrant digital scholarship happening across the University of Houston.
The DHC supports faculty, graduate, and undergraduate researchers by providing training, programming, and infrastructure to advance digital work and scholarship. This newsletter will spotlight the people, projects, and initiatives driving innovation in the digital humanities across our campuses.
Each issue will include:
- Updates on key topics like micro-credentialing, challenges with coding languages, and the role of AI in research.
- Announcements of new initiatives, courses, training opportunities, and events in the Digital Research Commons and online.
- Perspectives from DHC Director, Linda Garcia Merchant, on timely themes in the field.
The newsletter is made possible by a collaborative effort. Special thanks to editor Niamh Clarke, Digital Research Specialist, and the Division of Research Office of Strategic Communications, for their hard work in bringing this vision to life.
