The following visitation and guest policies are in effect in the residence halls. 

• Residents will have Cougar Card ID access to their assigned residence hall. 
• Those wishing to host visitors and guests are to get prior approval from their roommates/suitemates and abide by the expectation in the Roommate Agreement. 
• Non-resident visitors and guests are to be escorted by the resident host in public and common areas throughout the visit. 
• Non-resident visitors and guests are expected to abide by the University of Houston Student Code of Conduct, Residence Hall Service Agreement, and Housing Resource Guide. 
• Cohabitation, defined by Student Housing & Residential Life as staying longer than two consecutive days in any seven-day period, is not permitted.
