The Women and Gender Resource Center Awards recognize faculty who have made significant contributions to teaching, research, and service, including service to women and advancing gender equity on campus.
Additionally, the staff and faculty awards are given in recognition of commitments and contributions in the advancement and support of gender equity, and service to women.
We are pleased to announce the 2018 WGRC Award Winners:
Distinguished Faculty Scholar Award, Tenured Faculty
Professor Julia Babcock, Associate Professor, Department of Psychology, College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences
Distinguished Faculty Scholar Award, Pre-Tenure Faculty
Professor Sarah Narendorf, Assistant Professor, Graduate College of Social Work
Distinguished Faculty Scholar Award, Non-Tenure Track Faculty
Professor Claudia Scott, Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Health and Human Performance, College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences
Distinguished Service to Women Award, Staff
Dr. Erika Henderson, Assistant Provost, Faculty Recruitment, Retention, Equity and Diversity, Office of the Provost
Distinguished Service to Women Award, Student
Kelsey Lagus, Graduate Student, Graduate College of Social Work
Winners will be recognized at the respective UH awards ceremony and will receive $1,000 along with a WGRC award memento.
