Earlier this month, the Association for Fraternity/Sorority Advisors (AFA) announced that Jason Bergeron, the Director for the Center for Fraternity and Sorority Life at the University of Houston, was elected to AFA Executive Board as the Vice President of Membership. As part of this two-year commitment, he will be responsible for the oversight and coordination of all fundamental changes to the regional structure of the association and supervise the 5 regional directors within the association. Jason’s volunteer experience with AFA includes serving on the Assessment Committee (2006–2008) and being a Chair of the Assessment Committee (2008–2010) Additionally, he has served on the AFA Perspectives Quarterly Magazine Editorial Board (2010–2012) and has been an active writer and presenter for the Association.
