Cancelled: Harmony Across Borders: A World Music Celebration of UH Sociology and Yerevan State University Collaborations

Monday, April 22, 2024

6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Due to unforeseen visa and travel issues, the April 22 UH Sociology and Cadence concert event has been cancelled. We share in the disappointment and hope to reschedule this exceptional experience in the future.

The University of Houston Department of Sociology, in collaboration with the UH Institute for Global Engagement, invites you to an evening of world music on April 22. The celebration will begin with a reception of bites and beverages at 6 p.m. and will be followed by a free concert at 6:30 p.m. by Cadence Ensemble, a renowned Armenian musical group touring the US. This special event celebrates University of Houston global connections and the recent collaboration between the sociology departments at the University of Houston and Yerevan State University.

Cadence Ensemble will perform a captivating blend of classical, contemporary, and international music.
