As part of the annual Be Seen campaign, LaRahia Smith will explore how faculty and researchers at the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS) can leverage social media to amplify the visibility of their research. At this virtual event, participants will learn about best practices for using social platforms, like X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn and more, to reach broader audiences and increase the impact of their scholarly work.

About the Speaker
LaRahia is the communication director at the University of Houston College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, where she oversees the CLASS Office of Communications. With a clear focus on elevating the college’s visibility, LaRahia has significantly expanded the college’s digital presence since assuming the role.
